Hostaform C 9021 TF NATURAL is a very hard and rigid, heavy-metal free POM (polyoxymethylene) copolymer grade modified with PTFE. Exhibits outstanding chemical (solvents, fuels & strong alkalis)-, hydrolysis-, fatigue-, creep-, moisture- and stress cracking resistance. Also exhibits toughness (up to -40°C), good heat distortion temperature (up to 100°C), very good slip/ wear properties, excellent resilience, low moisture absorption and higher stability to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to acetal homopolymers. Also shows easy colorization. It can be processed by injection molding. Suitable for sliding combinations with very low coefficient of friction.
