Grilamid TR 55 Natural is a partially aromatic, high purity transparent polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade based on aliphatic and cycloaliphatic monomers. Possesses very high flexural fatigue strength, good colorability, high weathering stability, good stiffness, good toughness even at low temperatures and good dimensional stability. Offers low moisture absorption, low water absorption compared to standard polyamides, high heat distortion temperature and easy processability. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automotive applications like fuel systems, cooling and climate control, interior, powertrain and chassis, electrical appliances and equipment, lighting, mobile phones and other portable devices, medical devices, housewares, hydraulics & pneumatics, engineering tools, power transmission, sanitary, water and gas supply, sports & leisure and in optical components like sunglasses and spectacle frames. Complies with NSF 61 (Water contact), REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
